Stuart Pimm, one of the world’s leading experts on extinction, was today’s guest on NPR’s “Species at the Brink” on On Point with Tom Ashbrook. According to Pimm, up to one half of the world’s species could be extinct within 100 years. But instead of trying to frighten people into joining the cause by provoking our deepest fears, he provides worthwhile, achievable steps that every individual can take to help prevent this global nightmare.
